Out of the frying pan... HMAS Australia


Stoker Bill Williams had been injured following the sinking of the HMAS Kuttabul, but had now rejoined HMAS Australia in the Pacific. It was in the Philippines that Bill was to experience a new frightening weapon - Japanese Kamikaze. This was made more terrifying by the fact HMAS Australia was targeted many times.
