'An Australians view of the world' Corporal Wilfred Harold Ramsden DCM MM wrote these observations while serving in France during World War I, with a sense of humour. To witness the carnage and still stay sane, it was almost mandatory.
Ramsden turned his sights to Germany and the Kaiser, and gave them both barrells. Unfortunately he was not destined to see his prophecy. He died in hospital at Etretat from influenza with complications on 9 November 1918, just two days before the end of the war.
