"There were four of us who agreed to go into Goulburn together and I was arrested in the Canberra courthouse where I was trying to make a speech by Inspector Hedland. He chased me around the courthouse. He was a portly gentleman and I had motorcycle boots on and between the two of us he actually won thanks to my boots and then was put into the, I was put into Goulburn technically because I had failed to enter into a recognisance to obey a future medical notice and the process from then on would have been that I would have then failed to enter a recognisance to obey a call up and I would then be put in for 18 months as some fellows already had been.
