"When Adrian left for Vietnam we really had no idea of what they were going to or what dangers they would face. The communications industry wasn't what it is today. You were not saturated by television. In fact we didn't I think initially have a television set and so you were reliant on the newspapers and the newspapers then of course only released a certain amount of information."
