[ The Korean War ]
Korean War - Getting Through It
If The Enemy Doesn't Get You... A brief burst of wintery sunshine for members of C Company, the 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR)

Living and fighting in numbing cold also posed a number of problems when it came to transport, supplies and a soldier's physical and mental well being.

A NOVELTY THAT QUICKLY WORE OFF

For many Korea was not only the first time they had to contend with an enemy, it was also the first time they'd seen snow.

Rugged up in winter gear against the extreme cold of a Korean Christmas, members of the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR).

IF THE ENEMY DIDN'T GET YOU

If you survived the Chinese and the cold, there were always other risks that many considered worse.
